There's something about this picture book that gets to me. Good solid examples of real-life situations for the kiddies, like Ted Walrus and his secret shame, and Teddy & Marcy's slow grind. Three stars.
This is just great. I mean I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to see his apartment, but at least it's funny. Oh crap, maybe I should make some kind of spoiler tag for that sort of thing...
A Shoggoth!! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!! Ahem. Well okay yes it's kind of a The Thing/Cthulhu mashup, but I think the important thing is that it starts off cute and then goes wrong rather quickly.
Are you ready for St. Patrick's Day? I'm willing to bet not as ready as this fella. He was born ready... horribly ready.
There's something about stop-motion that tickles me, and this is a great example. It's not often I start craving anything even remotely resembling salad, apparently this has done the job though.
The opening credits of The Simpsons have often been interesting, but as someone who is gagging for the second series of Game Of Thrones I especially appreciated this one. I hope you get as much joy out of it as I did.
Well shit. How am I going to justify all the time I'm going to spend playing this? Right now I just don't know... but I have confidence I'll find a way. There are some things that must take priority. You can download it here for Windows, Linux & OSX.
Robot Quadrotors Playing James Bond Theme Science. Geeky. Cute. Video. You've already seen this on Reddit.
I keep throwing money at the screen and nothing happens! This is really just great, I love it for so many reasons, and in so many ways. It's an onion of greatness is what it is... well, not literally... but a metaphorical onion for sure.
In case it hasn't become clear, I'm kind of a a sucker for this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style of youtube video. Here we join some young lovers who are getting affectionate when something they hear on the radio throws a spanner into the works...
Okay this is pretty much just entirely self-indulgent drooling fanboy time right here... I'm sorry, but this sort of shit will happen when the bassist is the guy who does all the random links on the website. My only criticism is it should be a longer jam.
The first episode of Danger 5 - "I Danced For Hitler", is finally out, and I anticipate it will be relevant to the interests of several of our regular visitors. Surely this is the classiest thing on television right now. Right?
Well tan my hide and call me bashful, I guess this had to happen eventually right? I mean if there's one thing the American movie-going public will like better than seeing zombies getting their arses kicked, it's seeing Zombie Osama bin Laden getting his arse kicked.
No, I'm not using a turn of phrase, someone actually patented the use of a laser pointer being used to exercise cats. For realzies. More specifically, "A method for inducing cats to exercise consists of directing a beam of invisible light produced by a hand-held laser apparatus onto the floor or wall or other opaque surface in the vicinity of the cat, then moving the laser so as to cause the bright pattern of light to move in an iregular way fascinating to cats, and to any other animal with a chase instinct."
Yup. That was one sentence. Apparently.
